Checking In…

Yep, I’m still around, and not regularly updating my personal blog.

In my defense, the last 2+ years have been hectic, what with my two goblins underfoot

Introducing Henry Flynn Catchpole ❤️

Going to try to make a better effort to post things here, even if it’s just link lists and things I want to be able to refer back to.

Still Around!

So much for keeping up my personal blog.

Last post could have looked pretty ominous based on the date 💀

What have I been up to in the intervening years?

Well…

Say hi to Miles.

Anybody who knows me and my history knows what a big deal this little dude is for me. Being his dad and watching him grow and become a little person continues to provide me the sense of joy and care and responsibility are utterly vital in the times we live in.

Can’t say I’ll post more often, but at least they’ll be cute photos of my little bug 🐛.

Weep for yourself, my man,
You’ll never be what is in your heart
Weep little lion man,
You’re not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rake yourself,
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems that you made in your own head

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?
Didn’t I, my dear?

Tremble for yourself, my man,
You know that you have seen this all before
Tremble little lion man,
You’ll never settle any of your scores
Your grace is wasted in your face,
Your boldness stands alone among the wreck
Now learn from your mother or else spend your days biting your own neck

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?
Didn’t I, my dear?

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?
Didn’t I, my dear?
